Just when it seemed like News Corp.’s phone-hacking nightmare might be winding down — more than 100 related arrests and hundreds of millions of dollars later — authorities in Britain have opened up “new lines of inquiry” and arrested six more journalists, formerly of the News of the World, for their conduct in 2005 and 2006. In what the New York Times called “a new break” in the case, police said the latest arrests are part of “a further suspected conspiracy to intercept telephone voice mail messages by a number of employees.”
