For the Cut’s Global Beauty week, we sent photographers around the world to find out what makes the women of one city look distinctive from those of another.
For the past year, “no-makeup makeup” has been a big trend in the beauty world, with editorials and runways all describing it as a more minimal beauty look. But relative to the glammed-up version you see on red carpets, the women of Tel Aviv demonstrate what it really means to be bare-faced. For the next stop on our global beauty tour, the Cut sent photographer Miri Davidovitz to capture beauty all around the city. What came back was a sea of fresh faces: bare skin, lip balm, and natural eyelashes. Click through the slideshow to see the clean confidence of the Tel Aviv look.
