Ahead of its season-two premiere, Amazon Studios has renewed its critically acclaimed original series Transparent for a third season. The show’s creator, Jill Soloway, has also signed an overall deal with Amazon to develop more TV projects for the streaming platform. Earlier this year, the show picked up two Golden Globe Awards (a first for Amazon), while Vulture recently named it the Best New Drama in our TV Awards. Production is already underway on Transparent’s second season, which is expected to premiere later this year — likely with some Caitlyn Jenner references.
