Remember how that first clip from The Canyons was intense and frightening, but in like a weird, bad way? Well, apparently that’s how the whole thing goes down. The Hollywood Reporter learned from a SXSW “festival insider” that the film was rejected because of serious “quality issues.” They added, “It’s got an ugliness and a deadness to it.” Yikes.
