And now comes word that the meat dress will live on, albeit in a slightly, um, modified form. “The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky’ and will be archived,” designer Franc Fernandez explained, “The meat dries out, rather than rotting. It becomes jerky. But it shouldn’t be worn again.” So if you’re planning on making your own (and who isn’t?), there’s no need to discard the frock after wearing it out on the town — it can be turned into a lovely wall hanging in your living room, instead!
